I SAW THE SIGN (AND HEARD IT TOO)

The AcceleGlove can translate American Sign Language gestures into spoken works or text, allowing the deaf to communicate more easily with the sign-language illiterate.
Users wear the electronic glove, which is outfitted with micro-sensors, on one hand. A micro-controller on the back of the glove maps the position and movement of the hand and fingers, then broadcasts each word through a speaker or sends text to a computer screen. And, voila! The deaf and non-deaf are chatting.
