Recently at majority of places the authorities are forcing tattoo parlors to hire doctors and make sure that they’re present when someone goes under the needle, whereas the scenario is quite different in Washington where you can simply pick up your tattoo gun and go on a rampage as per whims.
Definitely Washington has failed to keep up with its reputation. Tattoo artists are not utilising proper hygiene and precautionary measures. Unsafe tattoos can lead to deadly infections and can spread diseases like Hepatitis B.
Most of the tattoo artists are unlicensed and unexperienced which results in the failure of the whole system.
